Chicago's music scene has received major attention as of late. From the success of rapper YP, to the signing of younger artists, such as, Lil Durk, Lil Reese, and producer Young Chop. While all the hype surrounds these artists, there are more quality artist putting in major work and making names for themselves. So we have taken it upon ourselves to get you caught up on these artists. Today, we give you King Samson of Brother Hood Entertainment!
We got our first look at King Samson back in December of 2011 via the DOORBELL visual. At first glance, I saw skill, potential and someone who actually rapped, in a world where some street rappers are not held to the standards of being clever, witty, and/or game-spitters anymore. On Feb 28Th, King Samson dropped "Feb 28th" the mix-tape, a solid project with hits such as Killanoize, crowd favorite Saying Names, and I'm On My Shit, to name a few. Will Gates, recently shot the video for the track Saying Names. King Samson also dropped "Sometimes Freestyle". Both tracks are hits. Today, with plenty of visuals and the Party and Bull$hit web series from High Vision Films rolling, Samson is now looking forward to dropping his next project and building a bigger buzz. With all that said haters, naysayers, closet fans, and doubters STOP IT, Samson has what it takes. GET IN TUNE.
